In March 2008 I began Finding Pennies. In December 2008 I began sharing these "Penny Tales" with a few close friends. They encouraged me to blog the Penny Tales such that more people could enjoy the Adventures with Penny Angels.

Happy Ripples

The Penny Finds and Happy Ripples continue almost daily.

Last week I asked the Angels to lead me to a new hair salon that would be reasonably priced, provide a comfortable and serene setting, with a talented and pleasant stylist.  Today that request was fulfilled even better than I could have hoped for!  WHY do I continue to be surprised by that?  Every day I have to remind myself to ASK in all things. There are invisible forces which help us with exams, find parking spaces, devise the right solution, etc.  Keep Asking for Assistance.  The forces on the other side have vision far beyond our limited sight and understanding.  Sometimes the help or answers they provide are absolutely mind-boggling (and even hilarious at times).

OK.  Back to my story … When I retired, I vowed to get a hair cut at least twice a year.  So today I went “under the scissors”. Jennifer was wonderful!  As she cut, I chatted about Penny Tales, the Penny Palace and COINcidences.  I even told her about my “Sasha Project”.  She said she would like to meet him and offered a free haircut when he visits from Russia.  Happy Ripples!

Jennifer also seemed to enjoy our time together.  As a working college student, she was feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the things currently on her plate.  She said as a result of our time together, pennies would now be a happy ‘trigger’ for her.  As I left the salon, I challenged the Angels: “Please deliver a penny before I get to my truck so I can show Jennifer how this really works!  I am not just a crazy old lady!”  Of course, I found a penny.  It was covered in dirt, but that doesn’t diminish it’s value.  I took the penny back to Jennifer.  Shared Happy Ripples!.

Also a dime at Lowe’s this morning plus two pennies and a dime at the car wash.
