Background

In March 2008 I began Finding Pennies. In December 2008 I began sharing these "Penny Tales" with a few close friends. They encouraged me to blog the Penny Tales such that more people could enjoy the Adventures with Penny Angels.

Quarterly Report

The first three months of this year were fairly difficult, but the numbers for the First Quarter Earnings were encouraging.  Coins were found EVERY Day despite injuries and surgeries which impaired the performance of the Earth Bound Finding Division.

The Divine Division of the company continued to perform well.  They developed some fun delivery tactics to ensure that the daily coin finding continued.  By the end of the Quarter (March 31) the company had secured 701 consecutive days of coin finding.

Both members of our Penny Finding Division were bed-ridden and unable to drive for several weeks each.  Expeditions to the kitchen, bathroom, or doctor appointments were challenging enough – Penny Finding expeditions were nearly impossible.  That resulted in a 24% reduction in number of coins found for the 2017 first quarter compared to the same period in 2016 when 702 coins were found.

Earnings for next quarter are expected to increase since the Earth Bound Division is back to near full search mode.

During these past 90 days, the company obtained a few international funds.  Coins were found from Canada, Mexico, Israel, the Cayman Islands, Singapore, the United Kingdom and China.

U.S. Coins Found:  530    (391 P; 30 N; 84 D; 25 Q)

Norman Pennies (2015 D): 30
Hits for the Cycle: 2
Foreign Coins: 9

STAY Invested in Penny Finders.  Since the data logging began in December 2008, the company has collected  $1,068.96. That’s a pretty good Return on Investment.
And it’s NOT really the money which matters – it’s the messages.  Each coin has a story linked to it and each penny somehow makes a difference.

Verbalizing

This afternoon Doc and I both had medical appointments at Kaiser.  While waiting for the elevator, I kissed Doc saying “OK Angels, where’s my penny for payment?”  (See Tuesday April 4 Story).  We looked down, but there was no penny at our feet this time.  😞  Doc stopped for a coffee while I checked in.  When he met up with me, I motioned for him to come sit in the seat next to me.  He laughed and pointed to the penny under the seat saying “There’s the penny payment you were asking for!"  😃 Good for a Laugh.

After the first appointment, Doc and I had 1.5 hours before the next appointment.  I wanted to investigate the nearby indoor swap meet.  In ten minutes I whizzed through the dozens of stalls.  We were ready to exit when I said, “Angels, I am surprised and disappointed that we did not find a single coin here.”  😞 Doc replied “What about that quarter right next to you?”  Cute.  So I said, “Really Angels? I merely need to Verbalize my wishes?  OK.  I’d like another coin please.”  There was a penny near the exit door.  “Angels that was pretty funny. 😇  How about one more time before we leave this building?”  I turned around to find a dime and a penny!

On the way home after our appointment, Doc wanted to stop at Target for a coffee.  He got his beverage while I walked to get more steps for the day.  The first coin found was a Guatemalan 10 Centavos coin. Then I found a few pennies. Time to do some talking … “Hi Angels, we already have a quarter, dime and some pennies.  We need a nickel to complete a Hit for the Cycle today.  Will you please deliver?”  In less than 5 seconds I spotted a nickel!  COINcidence?

I have read that your Sixth Sense is like a muscle which can be strengthened with regular training.  It’s kinda fun!  Hope YOU are strengthening YOUR muscle.

Penny Kisses

Doc and I met this week 36 years ago and there is STILL Magic when we kiss!  Today’s Penny Find confirmed that.

****

This afternoon Doc and I were walking into a Target store when Doc unexpectedly embraced  and then kissed me.  We were laughing.  It was just a spontaneous, silly moment.  We looked down and low and behold there was today’s penny at our feet!

Doc playfully said, “That worked really well!  Let’s try that again and see if we get another coin.”  I included the Angels saying, “Hey Penny Angels that was lots of fun.  You wanna do that again?”  Of course Doc and I kissed a second time.  Sure enough!  Before we could take a step, another penny appeared just a few feet away!  COINcidence?
