In March 2008 I began Finding Pennies. In December 2008 I began sharing these "Penny Tales" with a few close friends. They encouraged me to blog the Penny Tales such that more people could enjoy the Adventures with Penny Angels.

Calling All Angels

This morning I was scheduled to meet my two brothers at 7 a.m.so that we could carpool together.  We were anticipating a very long day dealing with some legal aspects of my Father’s Will.

Brother Greg called to say he was running 15 minutes late.  That gave me extra time to fuel Pippy,  After filling her gas tank, I still had a few extra minutes, but wasn’t sure I should push it any further on the clock.  The little voice said, “Put your ‘quiet/spiritual’ time first, and the rest will fall into place”.  So I hopped out of Pippy to go Penny Finding.

“Good Morning Penny Angels.  How are you doing today?  I will likely be with my brothers in restrained circumstances until late this evening.  Would you please deliver today’s coin(s) now so that I don’t have to think about that the rest of today?”   I found a penny and a dime within minutes.  YAY!  Day #756.

*******

I was sitting back in Pippy giving Thanks for the found coins and requesting help for the upcoming day.  “Good Morning!  I’m calling on Spirit, Guardian Angels, Guides, general angels and especially LEGAL Angels.  ALL hands (or wings) will be needed today.  Please assist.”

By now I needed to get on the road and drive quickly in order to be on time.  I turned on the ignition and put Pippy into reverse.  This huge white construction pickup pulled behind me, blocking my movement.  It was pulling a really long covered trailer and probably couldn’t fit anywhere else.  I was a bit perturbed and thinking, “Just keep moving.  Don’t you dare stop there!”  The guy stopped his rig!  I honked and figured he would move.  He didn’t.  I honked louder.  The guy got out of his truck and appeared to be going inside the convenience store for a coffee or snack or something.  I was thinking, “You inconsiderate Jerk!  You knew I was backing up when you pulled behind me!  I need to get driving NOW!”  The guy must have heard my thoughts.  He came over to my window and sternly stared right at me.  Then he said “Hey Lady, I am NOT moving my truck until I get my hug!”  It was my friend George!  What laughter that brought.  I hopped out and we hugged a bunch.  I told him he was one of today’s requested Angels.  Then I demanded he move his #### rig right NOW because I needed to leave!  LOL

I asked for Angel presence throughout the day.  That first one appeared within seconds of my request!  Not a knight on a white horse, but an angel in a white pickup.  What a great start to the day.  Side note:  George has appeared as “my Angel” a few times before when I prayed for help:  Hauling the mulch for the Garden of Hope, fixing a leaking sprinkler line, unclogging a kitchen drain, selecting a Christmas tree, and more.  He has “appeared” almost miraculously.

I did meet my two brothers right on time.  One brother and I were not allowed in the proceeding room, so we hung out together in the lobby until 7 p.m.  Throughout the day I was visualizing an assortment of Angels swirling around the participants in the legal proceedings.  I even envisioned some playful angles tugging on the neckties of the attorneys or on the scarf of the person being deposed; hopefully adding a bit of levity to what was happening in there.

No matter the situation, Angelic forces are there to assist.
