In March 2008 I began Finding Pennies. In December 2008 I began sharing these "Penny Tales" with a few close friends. They encouraged me to blog the Penny Tales such that more people could enjoy the Adventures with Penny Angels.

Day #957 - Loaded

We needed to be on the jobsite at 7 a.m. this morning. Uggh these early mornings are tough. We drove through McDonalds. No coins. Even the Penny Angels are asleep at that hour. Since it was early and the Taco Bell next door had not opened, I couldn’t resist looking there. Found a nickel and five pennies. Arby’s was just a few feet away, so I ran past that window for a dime. Then the KFC window for one shield penny. (Coins #1-8)

After that it was time to get to work. At the construction site the roofing crew was loading some of the tiles which arrived yesterday. More tiles arrived today which kept the crew loading all day long.

Framer Danny was on site for a little while to move lumber out of the way and clear areas for trenching tomorrow.

The electrical crew put in a full day. Many more light switches and electrical outlet boxes were installed. They wanted to know the heights of wall sconces and fixtures. That depends on how large the fixtures are. Good thing I spent so many nights last Fall investigating light fixtures.

On the way home, Doc found a median penny as we exited the freeway. (Coin #9)

This afternoon I ordered the doggie door, made numerous calls and pushed papers. The painter we met yesterday could not meet our time schedule. Thus, I called another one this afternoon. We met with him at 7 p.m. and by 8 p.m. had a signed contract. He will begin Monday.

There are many other minor things which occurred, but that is the gist of today.

Tomorrow should be another really full day.

Total: 9 Coins P (7), N (1), D (1), Q (0) = $0. 22
