Today marks one year since we broke ground for the Penny Palace. Sometimes it seems like it was just yesterday. At other times it seems like we have been on this project for a very long time. The back yard landscaping was an un-planned detour for 4-5 weeks, but the resulting stream and yard are quite impressive.
Every day over this past year has been amazing. There have been so many talented and caring persons involved. The Angels have continued their daily input of coins, ‘nudgings’, and special components (i.e. the windows from Heaven).
This video will give you a quick tour of the house as it looks today. Just a few more weeks of finish work (toilets, driveway, landscaping, etc.) and then we can obtain the official sign off from the City. After that, there will be lots of cleaning and final details (fencing for the doggies, touch up painting and staining, window coverings, etc.)
