In March 2008 I began Finding Pennies. In December 2008 I began sharing these "Penny Tales" with a few close friends. They encouraged me to blog the Penny Tales such that more people could enjoy the Adventures with Penny Angels.

Day #915 - Headache

This morning we had an 8 am meeting with a potential painter for the interior painting and exterior staining of the Penny Palace. Have no idea what his fees will be.

Then from 9 a.m. until nearly noon we met with Annette and Scott for the Window and Door Walk Through and dimension validations. It was a very thorough process in the hot sun. Every window was reviewed for style, opening direction, grid work, dimensions, etc. Then each door (both interior and exterior) was reviewed for dimensions, opening direction, door jamb widths, etc. See Doc’s Video.

By noon we had worked up an appetite, so Doc made a stop at McDonalds. One Penny there (Coin #1).

This afternoon was our bi-weekly Play Time with the Kids. It was very hot outside, so we chose to see the movie Rio (in an air conditioned theatre). Cute movie. We enjoyed an all-you-can-eat dinner buffet, and then proceeded to their Cub Scout meeting. This evening Brandon and Nicolas advanced from Bear to Weeblos. Uncle Doc was honored to help with the face painting ceremony.

Right now I have a splitting headache and really just want to go sleep it off.

Too Much Fun and Sun today!

Total: 1 Penny
