In March 2008 I began Finding Pennies. In December 2008 I began sharing these "Penny Tales" with a few close friends. They encouraged me to blog the Penny Tales such that more people could enjoy the Adventures with Penny Angels.

Day #1,018 - Painting Progress

Painters Pete and Peter made Positive Progress Painting the Penny Palace. They sprayed the sealing coat of paint on the entire interior of the house. That was somewhat of a surprise because when we spoke Friday, they planned to begin work on Tuesday.

This morning on the way to the jobsite we stopped at the bank and for Doc’s coffee. I found one penny. (Coin #1).

Over the weekend the Garden Arbor was built and the Fireplace Insert was installed.

Nice Story - More Angel Interventions

Doc and I were attempting to remove the front door so that it would be ready for the door company to exchange it for the correct one. It was heavy and we did not have the necessary tools. I asked how the two of us were going accomplish the task.

A stranger walked up to us and said he was working at the house next door, did we need any cabinetry, fine woodworking, door staining, etc.? We said we could use help getting the door out and then we could discuss other projects. He fetched his tools and helped lift out the door in just a few moments! COINcidence?

This afternoon Doc went to school where he had meetings regarding the accreditation of the Mechanical Engineering program.

I dealt with bills, calls, emails, and other things. Made the 20 mile drive to Chino to pick up my baked Dolphin Tails (tiles). They look good.

Doc arrived home from work at 8 p.m. this evening and both of us are too Pooped to Produce anything but a Plain tale tonight.

Total: 1 Penny
