In March 2008 I began Finding Pennies. In December 2008 I began sharing these "Penny Tales" with a few close friends. They encouraged me to blog the Penny Tales such that more people could enjoy the Adventures with Penny Angels.

Day #1,085 - Big Boxes

This morning I wanted to arrive on site before anyone else in order to get the garage swept and the site prepared for work today. Made it by only a few minutes.

The were five trades and Project Manager Daryl on site today. Plus one surprise guest - Amir who teaches Mechanical Engineering with Doc.

The tile crew was working all day. Much of the tile in the Grand Room was laid.

Framing Danny was on site to shorten 3 rafter tails for the gutter team.

The gutter team was back to install more horizontal edge pieces.

Vinyl flooring Mark finished all the kitchen and bathroom sheet flooring.

The Landscaping crew had the equipment running all day in moving more rocks! They laid heavy liner under the pond areas, built bridge supports and placed boulders for the staircase.

One full truckload of cabinetry was delivered today. Tonight our garage is packed floor to ceiling with dozens of boxes. This is way better than gift boxes of doodads under a messy Christmas tree.

Penny Finding…. Had forgotten about that.

This morning we stopped at Subway for their breakfast special (a sandwich and coffee). Doc went inside to get the food while I said, “I’m going to stay out here and find today’s coin”. I found a penny within a few feet of the van. Then I collected 4 dimes at the Del Taco window. (Coins #1-5)

This evening we stopped at Home Depot - Doc found his Penny there. (Coin #6)

Dinner was a counter meal at Saca’s Mediterranean Cafe. One quarter there. (Coin #7)

Total: 7 Coins P (2), N (0), D (4), Q (1) = $0.67
