A picture is worth a thousand words, right?
I am too busy tonight to write much, so pictures attached. It is not exactly the Tudor style I always wanted with dormers, a front porch, shake roof, leaded glass, etc. But it's pretty nice. What style you ask? It's a combination of the Kellogg Mansion, Mediterranean of the other houses in the neighborhood, Craftsman, Spanish, Ranch and ?. In other words: Shelton Style.

This morning lots of phone calls.
This afternoon a quick run to Duarte rental unit to check on it and water plants.
A stop at Home Depot. We heard that some stores will take your plans and give you a bid on the items they can provide, so we inquired there. There was one gorgeous shiny penny at the return register and then one in Customer Service. (Coins #1&2).

From 5 - 8:30 PM we met at our dining room table with a potential Project Manager, concrete guy and framing guy. They all brainstormed with us to see how we can cut out hopefully thousands of dollars.
We took a 45 minute breather (potty break) to feed the dogs and ourselves before our 9:15 call to the Financial guy. We spoke with him for quite a while.
After all of those activities, there have now been several hours of follow up emails and actions … and much more to do…
No time for Penny Tales - we have an ark to build!
Total: 2 Pennies
