In March 2008 I began Finding Pennies. In December 2008 I began sharing these "Penny Tales" with a few close friends. They encouraged me to blog the Penny Tales such that more people could enjoy the Adventures with Penny Angels.

Sweet 25

What are YOU doing for fun tonight?  Doc and I spent an hour grocery shopping and playing with the Penny Angels.  They were quite interactive with us tonight.  The lesson they had for us:  THINK BIGGER!

***********
Doc and I had been home all day because Doc was feeling very tired and dizzy and I was busy with projects.  At 5:30 p.m. we realized we’d better head out or we would not have a coin for today.

I had a birthday gift to drop off at a neighbor’s house.  R.B. was surprised and said “I hope you find A penny” as I was leaving.  I assured him I was planning to do just that!

A few minutes later I parked at the gas station/car wash.  The sun was just setting and brilliantly illuminating a few coins in the vacuum area.  Yipee!  Done!  But then another coin appeared… and another!  I found 19 coins there!  That is more than a Coin Mine (12 coins at one location).  Six of the coins were rather dirty so I wrapped them in a tissue.

Doc and I drove across the street to get a few groceries.  Doc was paying in the checkout line when I spotted a penny in the next aisle.  Went to fetch it and discovered three more pennies.  The count was then up to 23 coins for the evening.

As we left the store I began talking to the Angels.  “Hey there!  Are you listening?  Are you feeling playful tonight?  You KNOW that 25 is my favorite number.  How about if you deliver two more coins before I get back to the van?  That would make for a Great story for the Penny Pal readers”.  Yup!  I spotted a dime and retrieved it.  “Okay Angels, just one more coin to go!”  A penny within a matter of seconds.

SWEET 25

I was very happy with today’s story at this point.  Doc was getting his coffee and there was a coin counting machine nearby, so I could not resist the “nudging” to walk over and take a look.  WOW!  Score!  There were 10 coins there!  2 quarters, 3 dimes, 3 nickels, and 2 pennies!

THINK BIGGER

The next thought, “Gosh, we just missed getting three Hits for the Cycle!”  (HFC = a penny, a nickel, a dime, and a quarter)
When we returned home (within an hour of leaving), we had 35 coins in hand!  Doc carelessly grabbed the tissue with the 6 dirty coins as he moved his coffee cup.  The coins were sprawled on the floor of the car.  We had to “find them” once again!  LOL.  But guess what?  We picked up the 6 pennies PLUS a nickel, 2 dimes and a quarter from under Doc’s seat!  Remember that 3rd quarter I asked for?!?!?!  Manifesting!

For neighbor R.B.:  YES!  We certainly DID find a penny tonight!

THINK BIGGER!  The Universe is Endless!

Great to hear that you are getting a penny a day. Is that like an apple a day?
I found a 5 cent piece last week and thought of you pair and have come to realize that us Australians don't drop much money. Our smallest coin is five cents now.
