In March 2008 I began Finding Pennies. In December 2008 I began sharing these "Penny Tales" with a few close friends. They encouraged me to blog the Penny Tales such that more people could enjoy the Adventures with Penny Angels.

Day #1,052 - Autumn Arrival

Today we again spent time with our realtor, Adrie. We visited a dozen properties in five hours. Data overload. Collected 5 pennies, one quarter and a plastic (not wooden) nickel.

We initially met Realtor Adrie because she was the agent on the foreclosed land which has now become the Penny Palace. We were on the freeway and passing near the construction site, so we made a quick stop there. The only time Adrie had seen the property was when she initially listed it for sale two years ago. There have been just a few changes since then.

There were a few drizzles this morning, then clear skies while we were property shopping, and then torrential rains, lightning and hail this evening. Very glad the Penny Palace roof is almost completed.

Yesterday ended Daylight Savings so it was dark awfully early today. That, combined with the rain and chilly weather, makes me want to grab a blanket, doggie, and a book to curl up on a sofa. But only half my Weekend To Do list has been accomplished, so that is not an option. Need to prepare for the week ahead. Tomorrow should be a fun day.

Total: 6 Coins P (5), N (0), D (0), Q (1) = $0.30 + one plastic nickel
