In March 2008 I began Finding Pennies. In December 2008 I began sharing these "Penny Tales" with a few close friends. They encouraged me to blog the Penny Tales such that more people could enjoy the Adventures with Penny Angels.

Day #1,045 - Firsts

The goal was to grade exams for an hour or two in the morning, then to shut down and depart the cabin at noon. We made it out at 12:30. Doc insisted upon stopping at the nearest 7-11 store for coins. I had to buy a banana as my decoy for collecting the two pennies and dime on the floor near the counter. (Coins #1-3)

We had to stop at the Penny Palace to let Doc see the progress for this week. He sure enjoyed being there - that’s better than just reading about it. And the doggies loved exploring all the new sights and smells.

Son, Stephen and grandson, Ethan met us at the PP to say hello and get a tour. They were astonished at the progress in the several weeks since their last visit. Stephen was the first to climb the garage ladder up to the storage area. (He was trying to get rid of moving boxes from his garage and wanted to ‘donate’ them to us). Ethan was the first to walk (stomp) on the newly-coated Master Deck.

Total: 3 Coins P (2), N (0), D (1), Q (0) = $0.12

That garage storage space is pretty cool! No movies of the inside? :-( There goes my 15 min of fame. I love the front elevation, it is all coming together.
