Each day this week there have been 3 or 4 trades working at the Penny Palace. It has been tough to keep up with them. Tomorrow I am expecting nine trades on site! And Doc is scheduled to be at school to work on the solar car lab clean out. He hasn’t been at the Penny Palace all week, so he reads and sees what you do through Penny Tales.
Four crews working today. Debriefing:
Tile: Aussie shower tile installed.
Masonry: More stone veneer on front of house and the two driveway columns.
Painting: The planter boxes, exterior truss braces and more foam painted.
Decking: Color Coat, Finish Coat and Sealer. I believe that crew is now finished with the Master Deck.
Next week the painters will be painting the interior walls. Thus, today I was playing with mural placements in order to determine color schemes.
On the way home from the jobsite, I stopped at two tile stores to pick up orders which came in today. At the second stop there was a penny right by the door when I returned to the truck. “Thanks Angels. I did not want to actively search for a Penny today”.
Our application for the solar system rebate is proceeding, but needs an additional document.
And there is so much more stuff which came in today and needs dealing with …. Must get to work on some of those issues now. Good night!
