Celebration!
Yesterday was two full years of consecutive Penny Finding! Today we finally got all “green lights” from the City to begin construction on the new Penny Palace!
Last week we had the pre-grading meeting with the City Engineer, the grading contractor, soils engineer, project engineer, and building inspector. Today I paid the fees and we now have the Grading permit in hand! (Photo of me with Craig, Grading Contractor).
Next, I submitted the very last modification to the construction plans as required by the Building and Safety department and got sign off in that department!
Then, I began the process for Fire Zone Annexation. We just found out about that additional legal requirement
So, as of today we are totally cleared with the City to begin construction.
As soon as the weather clears (there have been major rain storms here for the past few days) and the bank processors get caught up with their backlog to give us their green light, then we will BEGIN Construction!
Thanks for being part of this journey,
Tina
