In March 2008 I began Finding Pennies. In December 2008 I began sharing these "Penny Tales" with a few close friends. They encouraged me to blog the Penny Tales such that more people could enjoy the Adventures with Penny Angels.

Day #717 - Aussie Find

At 3:15 got a call from the blueprint shop that our 5 sets of plans were ready for pick up. Fought the rush hour traffic and now have the plans in hand. Am carefully reviewing them tonight.

Tomorrow I will take all 115 pages to the engineer in the morning for each paged to be signed. Then an 11:15 meeting with the Grading Engineer for submittal of the Grading plans, then submittal of the full set of plans to Building and Safety Department.

This afternoon before bringing home my babies (I mean my house plans), I stopped at a 99¢ store merely to search for today’s coin. Found a dime under a standing display of sunglasses. Claimed the dime and left.

8:45 PM An Aussie Penny Pal just “rang me”. She had found $300 in her washing machine!

According to Penny Protocol that doesn’t count as a legitimate find (since it is probably her family’s money), but it is a nice surprise.

Total: 1 Dime

I don't see anything about washing machine in Penny Protocol Prohibitions. Those are all places where a normal person might keep coins. A washing machine is much too dangerous for that.
