In March 2008 I began Finding Pennies. In December 2008 I began sharing these "Penny Tales" with a few close friends. They encouraged me to blog the Penny Tales such that more people could enjoy the Adventures with Penny Angels.

Day #1,298 - Dishwasher Testing

This morning Doc opened the dishwasher and declared, “The dishes are clean!”  Duh.  They were nearly clean when they went in.  We essentially only used the machine to sanitize them.

Last night I went to bed at 10 p.m. and didn’t wake up until 6:30 this morning.  Last week was quite a tiring week.

The morning was spent dealing with some rental property concerns, then at 10:30 a.m. Doc and I headed for the Pomona house.  We made a quick stop at a convenience store so I would have some cold waters for the day.  One dime and three pennies there.  (Coins #1-4)

Doc and I had arranged for a walk through of the Pomona house with Realtor Adrie.  She is the one who sold us the bare lot for the Penny Palace, sold the Claremont lot, and helped us research and buy the two rental properties.  She recommended doing almost everything we had on our ‘fix it’ list plus and minus a few.  We will work on those after Kidz Week.

While I packed up some of the memorabilia in the Aussie room, Doc made a run for lunch and a quarter (Coin #5).

At 4 p.m. we headed home.  We stopped to deposit batteries at the recycle station, donations at the charity store, and used eyeglasses at the optometrist.

This evening we worked on loan support documents, making arrangements to get work done here and at the Pomona house, Kidz Week prep, and, of course, more cleaning and unpacking!

Total:    5  Coins        P (3), N (0), D (1), Q (1) = $0.38
